Born in 1970 in the city of Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro her primary and secondary education were held at the traditional Gay Lussac School.

Since then, Paula started to demonstrate a unique interest and particular talent for the arts in general, being demonstrated in form of several drawings and illustrations very rich in various colors and a remarkable creativity which led her to study Fashion Design at the Cândido Mendes College, concluded in 1995.

Inevitably, Paula's career in the fashion business was craved by success with her convincing styles and colors leading her to unleash markets like New York, London, Paris, Madrid and Barcelona.

Already in 2000 she was chosen and appointed as the most prominent talent of the Rio de Janeiro Fashion Week confirming her undeniable vocation on the competitive fashion business. But her true artistic essence was yet to come.

When she moved to the city of São Paulo she truly started to develop her real essence: painting.

Particularly in this period she went through the Brazilian coast where she managed to develop and emphasize the tropical colors that she definitely incorporated in the continuous layers that cross the four corners of her canvasses.

After returning to Rio de Janeiro she started to go the "Parque Lage" where she has been exploring unique techniques of contemporary arts.

 Besides other courses she managed to participate in her artistic career, special note is given to the ones carried by Teresa Berlinck, Luiz Ernesto da Fonseca Costa Moraes, Katie van Scherpenberg and others.

The main characteristics of her art: Layers superposition of strong and vibrant colors that brings a sensation of deepness associated with an abstract image.
